Holiday Programme – September 2025

From 22nd to 26th September 2025, Ngongotaha AFC ran a four-day Holiday Programme for kids of all ages. The tamariki had a fantastic time, learning new skills, playing plenty of games, and making new friends.

Big thanks to our amazing coaches Byron, Shaun, Paul, Jake, Kyle, and Marvin for making it all happen! And of course, a huge shoutout to all the kids who brought energy and enthusiasm every day.

Stay tuned for future Holiday Programmes – we’ll continue to offer fun, development-focused football activities during school breaks.

Children First (CR1) Community Football Project

Ngongotaha AFC is proud to host the The ChildRen First (CR1) Project this summer, starting Saturday 11th October. This programme is designed for tamariki of all skill levels – from beginners to experienced players – including participants from other clubs.

Participants will be coached by current and former Ngongotaha AFC players in a fun, social environment. The programme emphasizes teamwork, new skill development, and staying active, with kai available for the tamariki and their families.

Special thanks to Love Soup Rotorua and all partner organisations for supporting this initiative. The CR1 Project is the first community football project to be endorsed by Spirit of Football in Oceania.
